Review: Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint & Dear Darling Tint

0

Let’s see these two, they both have mixed reviews.

And I won’t be any different.

First off, I want to apologize for the inactivity. I have graduation exams knocking on my door so I’m trying to prepare for it as much as I can.

So I thought, lipstick reviews don’t have to be long but they are useful too, so let’s make some.

First, I’d like to start with the Fresh Cherry Tint.IMG_0771I got a few samples long time ago of this colour (RD301) and I immediately fell in love with the colour. It’s so sweet and cute, it’s not harsh kind of red, it’s more settle/milky but really pigmented. Well it’s more of a bright pink colour. It stays on pretty nicely for quite a long time actually. Not as long as my other tints but it does its job. I don’t have to say much about this, it’s just one of my favourites.

Next the beautiful Dear Darling Tint in shade #4 Vampire Red. IMG_1046When I saw this tint, I had to get it. So I bought it. I had read a few reviews on this and it was kind of meh. So when I got this, I was totally amazed by the colour. It’s absolutely gorgeous, beautiful, perfect and basically everything great. I love the dark and cold red colour of the blood and this is just like it. It has blue undertone which goes perfectly with my skintone. The problem here is how it looks on the lips. I have chopped lips and a scrub can’t do much about it. And this tint settles into the dry/cracked/whatever you call it, it’s just the part that should be scrubbed off but it doesn’t go away and it stays like that and you bite it and then it hurts because you bite off the skin. It does settle there and it stays there. The tint doesn’t even stay on very well, it’s easily even licked off! I wouldn’t mind if it only settled into the bad parts but it is so easily worn off that right after I put it on it’s suddenly gone. But I love this colour so much that I still use it on top of another lipstick, just in the middle, to give it some depth.

This tint may work for you but it doesn’t work for me. If it does work for you, I envy you and it’s not fair.

Let me know if you have these tints and you have the same problem~

Also I have finally filmed a video for the Tonymoly BCDation cushion+ and I’m thinking about talking into it and make it a review, instead of just a demo. Although I’m shy as hell because of my freaking stupid Czech/European accent : (

If you found this review helpful, leave a like and comment and share the post, it would mean a lot to me~

  1. I love the cherry tint! It smells wonderful. But it’s not as long-lasting as water tints. However, I discovered water tints are difficult to apply because they apply patchy.
